Terms of Service
Effective 22 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Kasaku, a personal finance tracker built and run by the developer of Kasaku as an individual developer. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
The service
Kasaku helps you record and review your own money: wallets, transactions, budgets, debts and reports. It is not a bank or payment service, it never moves money, and nothing in it is financial, tax or legal advice.
Your account
- You must be 17 or older and give a real email address.
- Keep your password safe; turning on two-factor authentication is recommended. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. Use shared books to work together instead of sharing a login.
Your data
What you record stays yours. You give Kasaku only the permission it needs to store and show it to you and the members of your books. You can export your transactions and delete your account at any time.
Shared books
The owner of a shared book decides who joins and with which role. Members can see everything in that book, and members with edit rights can change it. Only invite people you trust, and only record information about others that you have a reason to keep.
Plans and limits
The Free plan has limits, for example on the number of books, wallets, members and storage. Other plans may raise them; they are currently given out manually and there are no payments in Kasaku yet. Limits can change, but they only stop you from creating new things: they never lock, hide or delete what you already have.
Fair use
Do not use Kasaku for anything illegal, to store content that is not about your finances, to harass people you invite, or to attack, overload or probe the service. Accounts that do this may be suspended; where possible you will be told why first.
Availability and backups
Kasaku is run by one person on a single server. I do my best to keep it running and to back it up every day, but there may be downtime, and it is provided "as is" without guarantees. Keep your own copy of anything important, for example by exporting from Reports.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for losses that come from using or not being able to use Kasaku, including decisions you make based on its numbers. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indonesian consumer protection law.
If Kasaku stops
If I ever have to shut Kasaku down, you will get at least 30 days' notice by email so you can export your data first.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, you will be told by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Kasaku after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
